SPS is Poised to Begin Deployment of a New Customer
Management System for the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles
La Plata, MD, February 1, 2010 – Software Performance Systems, Inc. (SPS) announces that the Commonwealth of Virginia has begun acceptance testing of its new Customer Management Queuing System. The SPS Team chosen to implement this Web-based solution includes: ACF Technologies, which provides the Q-Flow COTS Solution; and Watson Industries as the hardware vendor / installer. The SPS team completed the development of the custom interfaces to nine DMV legacy systems and has presented the system to DMV for acceptance testing.
Deployment of the system to alpha and beta test sites is scheduled for completion by the end of March followed by full deployment to 73 of DMV's offices across the Commonwealth. After the initial deployment SPS will continue to provide operations and maintenance support to the system for the remaining six (6) option years. This web based system aligns with Virginia's strategic IT direction and will provide DMV with the ability to service its customers with more efficient and timely service.
