SPS Wins Strategic Contract To Modernize Financial And HR Systems
At The Smithsonian Institution
Arlington, VA, October 26, 2001 – Software Performance Systems, Inc. (SPS) announced that it has been awarded a multi-year contract to modernize the Smithsonian Institution’s existing Financial and Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The base contract is valued at $1.55M with options to further implement the financial and human resources enterprise software within the Smithsonian Institution over the next few years.
SPS will leverage expertise gained from building award-winning systems such as the Revenue and Accounting Management (RAM) System for the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in providing General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Purchase Order functions across the Smithsonian enterprise.
The SPS Financial Solutions Division (FSD) provides enterprise software development for core financial management and subsidiary ledger functions within federal agencies. The FSD’s success derives from combining the technical expertise of senior financial systems engineers and functional expertise of senior Federal Government business analysts. FSD provides “best solutions” based on extensive experience with multiple federal agencies and software packages.
