SPS Wins State of Texas Investigation Information Collection System (IICS) Contract

Falls Church, VA, November 1, 2004 – Software Performance Systems, Inc. (SPS) announced today that it was selected as the winner of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) contract for the Investigation Information Collection System (IICS) project.

IICS is a mobile (handheld) application that will allow investigators to capture investigation data electronically in the field, instead of collecting data on paper and re-entering it into the system when they get back to the office. 

This application is designed for the Microsoft PocketPC platform, and will interface with server-side Advantage Gen services via Web Services Architecture.  The technical architecture is designed to maximize use of current mobile technology to achieve business benefits, while remaining flexible enough to allow different mobile devices in the future, expansion of services, and expansion to web or portal systems. 

The winning SPS Team consists of Sentari Technologies, our Mentor-protégé partner, and The OMT Group, our Mobile Systems development partner.
