VHDA Awards SPS a Work-Order to Define Their EA Standards Program

Falls Church, VA, March 2004 – Software Performance Systems, Inc. (SPS) announced today that the Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA) has awarded SPS with a work-order to define their Enterprise Architecture (EA) Standards Program. The award is through the Commonwealth of Virginia - Advanced IT Resource Services Statewide Contract, where SPS is a partner of Northrop Grumman.

The award is initially a six-month project starting April 2004. The team will define standards and procedures for VHDA's EA technology (infrastructure) layer and assist VHDA in its EA toolset selection.

According to VHDA, the clear differentiators of SPS were our disciplined project approach and our ability to demonstrate the benefits of selecting SPS. These benefits include immediate productivity based upon proven templates and processes developed for similar tasks; lower risk, based on SPS' knowledge of standards strengths and weakness; and the experience of the proposed personnel in understanding the challenges of introducing organizational change brought about by new standards, processes and guidelines.
