SPS Wins Virginia DMV Customer Management / Queuing System Contract

Clinton, MD, May 1, 2008 – Software Performance Systems, Inc. (SPS) announces that the Commonwealth of Virginia has awarded SPS the Customer Management Queuing System contract. The winning SPS Team chosen to implement this Web-based solution includes: ACF Technologies, which provides the Q-Flow COTS Solution; Credence Management Solutions as the implementation partner; and Watson Industries as the hardware vendor / installer.

The base period of this award for project implementation is for fifteen (15) months with six (6) option years for the maintenance phase. Under this contract, the SPS Team will replace the current system used by the Virginia DMV to manage customer service, issue service tickets, and route customers through the 74 DMV offices statewide.

Sid Chowdhary, SPS Program Manager and Capture Lead for the MD MVA and VA DMV contracts, states, "We are pleased to have this opportunity to assist VA DMV in improving their customer service to Virginia residents by managing the wait times at DMV offices. This award follows our earlier win with the Maryland MVA and demonstrates the value that the SPS-Credence-ACF partnership provides to government agencies who are implementing their Customer Management Solutions." This award further establishes SPS's position as a leading vendor in the implementation of enterprise Web-based COTS solutions for government and commercial customers. Q-Flow utilizes the same technical architecture as the SPS commercial products and complements SPS's suite of solutions.
