SPS Enhances the Interface Between the Smithsonian HRMS
and the NFC Payroll System

Falls Church, VA, December 27, 2004 – The SPS team successfully deployed enhancements to the interface between the Smithsonian Institution Human Resource Management System (HRMS) and the National Finance Center (NFC) payroll system. These enhancements included the passing of performance appraisal, state tax, and direct deposit documents in both directions. Historical documents were converted into the Smithsonian HRMS database for all three document types.
