SPS Deploys Phase 3 of the HRMS Application at the Smithsonian

Falls Church, VA, August 1, 2005 – The SPS team successfully deployed Phase 3 of the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) application at the Smithsonian Institution. This release included the implementation of the Training module, which permits the recording of all employee training within HRMS. Workflow to route training requests and approvals was automated with this release. Data conversion routines for historical training data were developed and tested. More than ten new custom queries and reports were developed to support the Training module.
