SPS Enhances Smithsonian Payroll System with Ten New Benefits Documents

Falls Church, VA, May 16, 2005 – The SPS team successfully deployed additional enhancements to the interface between the Smithsonian Institution Human Resource Management System (HRMS) and the National Finance Center (NFC) payroll system. These enhancements included the passing of ten new benefits documents in both directions. These new documents included Health Benefits, Life Insurance, Allotments, Retirements, and others. Historical data for all document types was converted into the Smithsonian HRMS database.
