Department of Justice Customer Receives Exceptional Service Award

Falls Church, VA, October 5, 2005 - Attorney General Alberto Gonzales recently presented an Award of Excellence to Ashok Sharma for his role on the Implementation of the Arizona Sentence to Commitment Pilot Project. Mr. Sharma is the Assistant Director of the DOJ's Systems Technology Staff, Office of the Chief Information Officer. The SPS team helped in the hosting environment design and performed a scalability analysis and recommendation for the SDS, the Office of Federal Detention Trustee, and the DOJ CIO office. SPS has since designed and deployed a highly available system for nationwide use at the DOJ Rockville Data Center.
